It's amazing how fast kenyans are to forget the things that preceded the current state of affairs. Our politicians have let us down and the blame for the lives lost and property destroyed is on them. What disturbs me most is the continued lack of attention being accorded to the key indicators that this is not a political stalemate, and doesn't go a...

This site is a good idea but the hypocrisy is unbelievable. Tribal hate is a preserve of a particular section of Kenya. Unless this part of Kenya accepts and treats other Kenyans with respect, we are going nowhere.Imagining that people will forget and just act loveydovey again is as naive as it gets.Ignoring and applauding the bad things done by p...

We have discussed issues amongst my friends from different parts of the country regarding the crisis in Kenya. Sometimes the discussions have been heated, and sometimes they have been cordial. Above all we have remained civil at all times because in the end I AM MY BROTHER'S KEEPER... and my brother has no tribe. PEACE

Fellow Kenyans, We need not misdirect our anger.

There is no tribal hatred in Kenya. This is a total myth sold by politician and media and bought by some brainless people. We live together socially with no problems at all. The Rift Valley war is a land war. The current election chaos are poverty issues brought about by the desire for change and the feeling that other poor people betrayed the p...

Our recognition as Kenyans in diaspora has really deemed our status in the society. Let us all join hands in praying for peace, talk to our people and tell them we are all of the same community, but our mouth is what makes the diference. I see hope in the near future if our leaders can engage in a long lasting solution that is above their personal ...

Pride, oh pride. Why is everyone so proud to be Kenyan, Luo, Kikuyu, etc? I offer an alternative outlook. The world needs to stop being proud for the world to function properly. Think about it for a moment. Here's a definition of proud "feeling pleasure or satisfaction over something regarded as highly honorable or creditable to oneself (often fol....

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting....
We asked for it and indeed, we got it.
We preached tribalism, and tribalism and tribal wars is what we got....
"The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry. Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"
God said: "When I made the woman she had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I wish the youth who are directly involved could get access to this important information so they can get sense n stop the wanton destruction, ethnic cleansing n massacre...etc
Is it that all that peace without justice messages have been falling on the wrong category of people?

Question my dear brothers and sisters is what I have.
We who have access to media We who have some metropolitanism ingrained We who have grown up in heterogenous societies in cities and towns We, because of exposure, have learnt to think for ourselves and are not swayed 'easily' by a selfish evil toungue We who are preaching togetherness and...
Its amazing 2 politicians can completely destroy a country that has been peaceful for years. 2 people thats what its all about, its times like this you wish something like the military to take over and force this 2 to sit down. All this nonsense of chatter should be culled and people immediately get back to work. This are people dying...

Thank you my dear brothers and sisters, we have come from far. We have seen our country through the darkest days, we may not be able to erase what has happened but we can over come together. We were an example to other African countries and if we believe in ourselves we will bounce back, together and as one nation. Nyumbani ni Nyumbani and i believ...

I thnk God for being born a Kenyan. Where iam they refer to us as Africans meaning they do not know anything about TRIBE, i would just like to urge my bruvs and sisters to preach the peace of God and not war and ALL the Promises of God will come true for our Beloved Country. LONG LIVE KENYA.
When I was born, I cried and not even the nurses and the people around me knew whether with my kinda of cry they would place me as a Luhya, Kikuyu, Kalenjin or any of the 42 tribes of my beloved country Kenya.
Then I was given a name and that when I knew that I was tribe X! And when I grew up I was told all about the stereotypes of...
