Nduguzanguni, Mambo ndivio hivi sasa.

In 1850`s the first Arab/Swahili trade caravan made it`s way into Kalenjin land, well said Moi University neighbourho...

I've seen what rage can do to a country and specialy to its people. Bad, bad move. Nature has power enough to cause problems (like the fires in wildlife preserved areas), don't add human's rage.

Kenya: Home of My Soul.

i think on recent events,
all that has happened to the place once called
the home of my soul,
and despair.

the long years have brought on homesickness
and a nearly desperate need to return,
even more so now,
when my heart is crying out
for those perishing in abominable fashion.

i watch the censured scenes o...

Remember at the beginning...
When we were young, when we understood words like 'Harambee';
When we sang songs about 'tuungane pamoja';
When we were proud to be Kenyan;

When we celebrated Kipchoge, Rono the athletes (not the tribe);
When we spoke of the freedom fighters with pride;
When we laughed at each others different accents from around...

Dear,i did not forget valentine's day,

I couldn't get flowers coz the roads were blocked,
and in the flower farms there were no workers,
Many of them were,displaced,maimed,chased,warring and others killed.

Dear i did not forget to send you a card,

We cannot spit in the faces if our ancestors by rejecting our heritage. However, we must understand and accept that our differences are only linguistic, or compared with other races, only skin deep. Accepting the nature of our diversity and using for common gain rather than to maim is the true spirit of humanity. We need to discuss our differences ...

Tribe is what should make us proud, because it means we are a community rich in culture and traditions. I was born, raised, educated, loved, disciplined in the beautifull country i call my motherland, Kenya. My childhood was full of great memories and all my friends were from all kinds of backgrounds and we are still great friends up till today.
